Product description MIR presents the Pro-Tor Eip (Extreme Impact Protection), i.e. a Kart rib protector that is not a further refinement of other similar products, but a new protection system. In fact, its main feature is its softness, which favors the mobility and comfort of the rider. This, however, does not limit the protection from impacts: in fact, a padding in Poron XRD has been adopted, an "office" material that however has an exceptional absorption capacity, so much so that it is also used in bulletproof jackets. This is because it attenuates and distributes the blows for 90% of the energy, without taking away the feeling with the vehicle but rather filtering the vibrations as well. Among the other distinguishing features compared to certain rigid solutions (which are uncomfortable, ruin the suit and sometimes cause injuries themselves in the event of an accident) we have the protection also at the front for impacts against the steering wheel, the reinforcement on the spine, the internal anti-sweat fabric, the elastic waistband and a considerable lightness, around 420 grams depending on the size.
